Mar. 2 2007: TULP2G 1.4.0.4 released.
TULP2G is a .NET 2.0 based forensic software framework for extracting and decoding data stored in electronic devices. Along with the framework this version includes several plug-ins in the area of retrieving data from mobile phones and generating the accompanying reports.

This release fixes an error in the installer, TULP2G can now be installed on machines that only have .NET 2.0 installed. Furthermore the SIM plug-in has been expanded to include support for reading out UMTS USIM cards. For more changes, see the changelog. Download the new release from the file area. The sources will be released after testing within a week.

Apr. 21 2006: TULP2G 1.3.0.3 sources released.
The full sourcecode to the recent 1.3.0.3 release of TULP2G is now also available. Biggest change is that the included build script now requires .NET 2.0 and Visual Studio 2005. The TULP2G sourcecode can still be built using the freely available .NET 2.0 Framework SDK, but to simplify our development environment we no longer directly support this. The good part is that the directory layout has improved and the build is much quicker. Get the zipfile with the new code here.

Apr. 5 2006: TULP2G 1.3.0.3 released.
TULP2G is a .NET 2.0 based forensic software framework for extracting and decoding data stored in electronic devices. Along with the framework this version includes several plug-ins in the area of retrieving data from mobile phones and generating the accompanying reports.

This release moves TULP2G to .NET 2.0, includes several updated plug-ins as well as a new SIM preparation plug-in. A new version of some base components that causes problems for some users has been fixed in this release as well.

Mar. 9 2006: Issue deadline for upcoming TULP2G release
In April 2006, the 1.3 version of TULP2G will be released. This will mark a move to a .NET 2.0 version of TULP2G as well as fixes to most of the accumulated issues since the previous release. In order to finalize the functionality of the upcoming release, only issues that are reported on or before Monday March 20th 2006 will be considered for the new release. So please, if you have feature requests or bug reports, file them before that date.

Jul. 31 2005: TULP2G 1.2.0.2 Released.
TULP2G 1.2.0.2 was released today. This version includes mostly bugfixes to small issues discovered in the past months. Some changes were made to the user interface as well however, the most important ones being:

• The Create button has been removed from the investigation tab. Because of this change, investigation settings are no longer reset after an investigation has been run, so it's much easier and quicker to run several similar investigations in a row or save a just succeeded investigation to a profile to save the settings.
• If a case is not open, the investigation and report tabs are not available. This was done to make the workflow more intuitive: instead of telling the user that something cannot be done, the tabs are simply not available.

Apr. 6 2005: TULP2G 1.2.0.1 sources are available.
The full sourcecode to the 1.2.0.1 release of TULP2G released past Friday is now available as well. Please note that there is a small change to the required tools to build this version: NAnt 0.85-RC1 (tested) or up (not tested) is required instead of NAnt 0.84. Get the full source here.

Apr. 1 2005: TULP2G 1.2.0.1 Released!
TULP2G 1.2.0.1 was released today. This version includes mostly bugfixes and some usability enhancements. The biggest change is the addition of a dialog when loading a profile: the default case, investigator and investigation names can now be changed when loading a profile, making profiles much easier and quicker to work with. The full source release will be done after the weekend since that will require some additional testing - the binary release is here now since the release was announced for today and we didn't want to postpone everything. Feb. 15 2005: Issue deadline and plug-in howto.
Every three months a rollup package consisting of all fixed bugs, implemented features and fixed/updated/new plug-ins will be released. The releasedate for the first rollup package has been set to April 1st 2005 (not a joke!) In order for us to properly test fixes and updates before the next release, we will only consider bugs/features for this release that have been submitted before March 1st 2005. Everything reported/requested after that date will be considered for the next rollup package scheduled for July 2005. So if you have some issues or wishes for the next version of TULP2G, let us know soon! Furthermore we've put a small checklist online for plug-in developers detailing the steps to take when creating a TULP2G plug-in, available here.

Dec. 15 2004: TULP2G 1.1.0.2 Released!
Today we've released the 1.1 version of the TULP2G platform, including a large amount of bug fixes and new functionality since the original release. Besides the binary .MSI-installer containing the full framework along with the latest versions of all plug-ins, the full sourcecode to the entire distribution is available as well. Also available are seperate binary and source packages to all seperate components. Go to the project file listing for all downloads.

Oct. 20 2004: Seperate distributions of all 1.0.0.1 plug-ins are available.
Today smaller distributions of all seperate plug-ins in both binary and source form have been released. The purpose of these packages is to allow users and developers to quickly update to a new version of a seperate components when it's available without having to reinstall the entire application (for end users) or update their entire build environment (for developers). Also available is a seperate distribution of the various stylesheets. See the project file listing for an overview of and links to all files released. Note that no new code has been released, these are merely new distributions of the plug-ins already available in the Full Distribution release.

Oct. 13 2004: TULP2G 1.0.0.1 Released!
This is the initial release of TULP2G. The Full Distribution package released today consists of a binary .MSI-installer and a .ZIP source release. The first contains the main application, all currently available plug-ins and documentation ready for use. The latter contains the full sourcecode to the framework as well as additional developer documentation.
